摘要
无线传感器网络是近年来的一个研究热点,随着硬件技术的提高和成本的下降,大规模无线传感器网络正逐渐进入到军事、农业、工程应用等领域,特别是在物联网行业中,无线传感器网络有着广阔的应用前景。另一方面,由于传感器节点体积小、数量多、分布散,所以一般采用电池进行供电,节点的能量非常有限。因此能耗控制技术成为关系到无线传感器网络未来的关键技术。
本文以降低网络的能耗和提升数据传输性能为主要目的,主要做了如下工作:
对无线传感器网络技术进行了概述,较深入的研究了已有的MAC协议的原理和技术,对S-MAC协议所采用的原理、方法和机制进行了详细的分析,并对S-MAC协议的优点和缺点做出了总结。
针对S-MAC协议的缺陷提出了周期偏移机制、数据分割机制、自适应占空比机制和动态网关机制,通过四种机制的应用,克服了S-MAC协议的缺陷,提升了网络的能耗控制性能和数据传输性能。
使用网络仿真器NS-2建立了线型拓扑模型和随机拓扑模型,共计20个场景,对SS-MAC协议性能进行了详细的仿真实验,实验结果证明SS-MAC协议具有比S-MAC协议优秀的时延和能耗性能,网络规模越大,网络负载越大,SS-MAC协议的性能优势就越显著。

Abstract
With the development of hardware technology and the decline of cost, wireless works (WSNs) is a hot topic of research for the past few years. Large-scale WSNs are gradually entering into the military, agriculture, engineering application and other fields. Especially in working industry, WSNs have wide application prospects. On the other hand, because the sensor nodes have the characteristics of small volume, quantity and distribution scattered, we generally use the battery power to supply for very limited node energy. Therefore the energy consumption control technology es the key to the future of wireless works.
This paper is for the main purpose of reducing the energy consumption work and promoting the data transmission performance. The major works are as follows.
Firstly, overview the technology of wireless work, deeply research the principle and technology of the existing MAC protocols, analysis S-MAC protocol that uses principle, methods and mechanisms in detail, and summarize the advantages and disadvantages of S-MAC protocol.
