Abstract
Education is an important matter,it must base on teachers. As the pillar of education, Teachers' quality directly determines the level of education of any country
to essfully cultivate the excellent talents,to improve the teaching and academic
ability of teachers. In an era characterized by knowledge-based 21st century, the world is more strongly realizing the important significance of university teachers to cultivate excellent talents, and have undertaken research and practice in this field. Faculty development aims to help new teachers improve their ability as teachers and scholars, and enhances their ability of the teaching quality. Firstly, through the representative and theoretical model in the area of university new teachers, the paper analyzed Australian university new teachers’ historical process, facing the problems
and the solving measures. And,the paper also selected the representative of The
University of Sydney and The University of New South Wales’ new teachers development project as a case to analysis and thinking. Through analyzed the development of foreign university new teachers, to deepen the understanding of university new teachers development’s present situation and problems, adjusting the policy of university new teachers development in our country.
Full total of six parts as following:
Part I: Introduction part describes the development of university new teachers in Australia about the purpose, significance, methods and important concept. Set the stage for the following.
Part II: This part mainly introduces the education representative and theoretical model of university new teachers in Australia.
Part III: According to Australian university new teachers development as the time clue, the part introduces the historical evolution of university new teachers in Australia, and through the international, national, government and university four aspects to analyze.
Part IV: Analyzed along with the rapid development of the era, the
