Rule 1: old--older, 词尾+er
句式1:A + be +形容词比较级+ than + B, A与B为同一类。

Rule 2: tall--taller
much,a lot ,a little ,a bit等词可以修饰形容词的比较级,但是 very, quite, too, so不能,只能后加原级,如 very tall.

比较级要变化,一般词尾加-er 。词尾若有哑音e,直接加r就可以。一辅重读闭音节,辅音字母要双写(大(big)热(hot)天,胖(fat)子湿(wet)了,瘦(thin)子红(red)眼了)辅音字母加y,要把y改i,不规则要特殊记
