Definition
A way of describing something in order to make it sound bigger,smaller, better,worse etc. than it really is.
It may be used to evoke strong feelings or to create a strong impression, but is not meant to be taken literally.
1. 利用数词或表示数量的词组进行夸张
I beg a thousand pardons.
千万请求原谅。
He ran down the avenue, making a noise like ten horses at a gallop.

His eloquence would split rocks.
