Qin Shihuang
Qin Shihuang (259-210BC),whose personal name is Ying Zheng, was king of Qin from 246BC to 221BC during the warring state period. He became the first emperor of a unified China in 221BC ,Which collapsed, however , less than four years after his death.
When Qin defeated the other six states in 221BC ,for the first time history ,China became a unified centralized state, Qin.
As emperor he initiated a series of reforms aimed at establishing a fully centralized administration to avoid the rise of independent states .
