Application of Encoder in Belt-broken Detection

Abstract: Having analyzed the belt-broken fault feature of downward belt conveyor and upward belt
conveyor,monitor belt running by detecting the difference between belt speed and active rollers speed
and the direction of the belt. This method can monitor above the belt of down belt conveyor and below
the belt of upward belt conveyor, which is conducive to timely detection of belt -broken fault. The
application shows that the design is feasible and the unit is very practical.
