科研论文引言的体裁分析%3a中英文引言对比.pdf

摘要

如今,英语已成为了世界上最重要的交流语言。在学术界,英语也被广泛应
用,并成为众多学术专著和期刊的通用语言。因此,书面英语,尤其是针对书面
英语这种体裁的体裁分析得到了学者的关注。前言部分作为整篇文章的点睛之
笔,也被认为是最棘手的部分,并得到了研究者最多的关注。在这众多的研究成
果中,John Swales 的“Create A Research Space”模式是被最广泛接受的。
本研究是对英文前言和中文前言的对比分析,旨在探索两种语言的前言在体
裁结构上的不同。本文选取了 40 篇语言学和语言教学领域的科研论文前言形成
语料库:20 篇英文前言分别出自期刊 English For Specific Purposes 和 Language
Teaching Research; 20 篇中文前言分别出自《现代外语》期刊和《外语教学与研
究》期刊。在研究中,Swales 的 CARS 模式被作为了分析标准。研究结果表明,
近年来的英文前言的结构已不再和 CARS 模式完全契合,甚至出现了一些附加
语轮。如, “背景信息”语轮并未包含在 CARS 模式中,但却出现在许多的英
文前言中。中文前言的体裁结构与 CARS 模式基本吻合,但由于两种语言文化
的差异,中文前言中也出现了特有的一些步骤,如作者从中文科研论文前言中总
结出了新的语轮:“附加信息”。在一些语轮中,如“文献综述”,出于中国文化
中的谦让和内敛,中文前言与英文前言有所不同,作者只对其研究领域中的研究
成果进行综述,并不进行评价和批评。
本文的主要目的在于对中英文前言进行对比分析,总结两者之间的异同;并
将中英文前言的体裁结构与 CARS 模式进行对比。目的在于为英文与中文学术
写作教学提供帮助。

Abstract

Nowadays, English has e an munication language in the
world. In academia, English is also the most widely used language. Many scientific
books and journals are published in English. So, written English, especially genre and
genre analysis, has attracted many linguists’ attention. In research articles (RAs)
analysis, the section of introduction is considered to be the most troublesome part
attracting more researchers’ interests. In all of the studies, John Swales’ Create A
Research Space Model is the widely accepted result.
The research is a study about the similarities and differences of the generic
patterns of RA introductions, which are written by English writers in English and by
Chinese writers in Chinese. The analysis is based on a corpus of forty RA
introductions in the fields of linguistic and language teaching. Twenty English RA
introductions are selected from two English journals: The Journal of English for
Specific Purposes and The Journal of Language Teaching Research, and twenty
Chinese RA introductions are selected respectively from《现代外语》(The Journal of
Modern Foreign Language) and 《外语教学与研究》(The Journal of F
