Who are the popular stars among Chinese teenagers, and what are their favorite fashion styles?
What kinds of TV plays do they usually watch, and what singers’ songs do they listen to? If you
have a little talk with some teenagers, especially high school students, you can easily find out that,
recently, their favorite stars, TV plays, songs, fashion styles, and puter games, are mostly
from Korea.
Nowadays, many teenagers dye their hair brown, maroon, golden yellow, red, or even green
and purple. They wear big T-shirts, pants with fat and long trouser legs, and gym shoes which are
a little bigger than their normal sizes. This is exactly the Korean Hip-Pop style. Teenagers are
absorbed not only in Korean vogues, Korean songs and TV plays, but also Korean cartoons. They
love Mashi Maro, a strange Korean cartoon rabbit. They have Mashi Maro on their bags and
