When you talk with a friend, how would you feel if you find him avoid looking at you, or
hesitate before answering your questions? Do you feel that he is not paying attention or think that
he is telling a lie to you? When we see a man and a woman walking holding their hands, we
always see them as lovers or couples. Similarly, we can easily tell a teacher from a student in class
according to the way they talk, the space they have and the posture they assume standing or sitting.
It’s always very easy for us to make such conclusions. However, have you ever considered why
we can make such judgements even without talking with those people, why we seem to understand
them just through eye contact or gestures? The key is the munication----all the
messages other than words
