内容提要:从神经学和心理学的角度看,“通感”是通过人的神经感官反应引起心理联
想而产生的。修辞中的“通感”同样体现了它在神经学和心理学中的特点,它强调五种感觉
的触发和沟通,描摹客观事物,表现主观心理感受;它利用不同的感官感受在人的心理反应
上的相似,调动人的感官联想,实现通感修辞,从而使得语言表达更生动形象、更具感染力,
易于唤起读者的联想和共鸣,激发情感,而这就是它的艺术所在。它在神经学和心理学上的
特点还使得它与舞蹈、音乐和美术等多种艺术领域有着相似的艺术特征。此外通感在广播、
电视等传媒领域也有着广泛的应用。本文还分析了通感的这些领域应用中的艺术效应。

Introduction
Art is of many forms, hence it is difficult, or perhaps impossible to bring forth a proper and
precise definition of it. Here we can consult one definition from Wikipedia, the Free
Encyclopedia:
Art appeals to human emotions. It can arouse aesthetic or moral feelings, and can be
understood as a way municating these feelings. The artist has to express himself so that his
public is aroused, but he does not have to do it consciously. Art both explores human emotions
and ways to arouse them - the good art brings something new and original in either of these two
respects. 1.
In this definition, emtions and feelings are empharsized. Art is regarded as capable of
exploring emotions and arousing aesthetic or moral feelings, conscioiusly or unconscioiusly.
With regards to synaesthesia, according to Webster’s Dictionary of the English Language,
“syn”, in “synaesthesia” originally means “together” in Greek; while “aesthesia” originated from
the Greek “aistheesis”, which means “sensation”; “synaesthesia”, therefore, is defined as
