encouragement and valuable instructions, especially for his ments and
suggestions on my paper. His careful and critical reading of my paper has saved me
from a lot of errors. Without his guidance and supervision, my paper would have
never been worked out in the present form.
Special thanks are also extended to Dr. Hu Jian and Dr. Yang Ling, who have
offered me some very useful books, constructive suggestions as well as technical
support. I have also benefited enormously from the lectures that I have attended
