What is low-carbon?
Low-carbon means a lower of greenhouse gases emissions, specially refers to the carbon dioxide.

our environment is becoming more and more worse.

Therefore, we should protect our earth which is the only one that provide the living environment for human.
so we should advocate low-carbon.
Low carbon technologies
Wind power
Wind power supplies roughly the same amount of electricity, and new wind facilities are being built at a rapid pace. Additional, the fuel cost for wind is zero.
Several studies have found that even when these manufacturing wind turbines(风力涡轮机) and building wind plants are included, wind energy’s CO2 emissions are still quite small.
Solar power
The amount of solar energy that reaches the United States each year is equivalent to approximately 4,000 times the nation’s total electric power needs, but tapping that energy has been relatively expensive.
Costs for solar photovoltaic cells are 5 to 10 times higher than those of other low-carbon technologies.
