Abstract
Analyzed from the current China's economic index, northwest region belongs to
underdeveloped area, takes on a severely stagnant look in its development. Meanwhile,
northwest is also a region with a fragile ecological environment. At present,
urbanization of Xi'an is deepening, radiating a expansive surrounding area. The original
planning cannot meet the current construction needs.
The construction of nine satellite cities such as Lintong, Huxian County and
Yanliang District has been made clear in the 3rd round of Xi'an urban planning. However,
the satellite cities have been developing slowly and cannot serve much purpose in
alleviating downtown population, traffic and environment pressure for the purpose of
accelerating and promoting the construction of urban-rural integration. During the 12nd
Five Years' Planning, Xi'an will take the construction of international metropolitan as its
goal, build up the framework of metropolis, optimize the urban overall arrangement,
build four-level urban system composed of one nucleus city, three sub-central cities,
five new cities, sixty key , this thesis has made a further research on
development strategy of Yanliang space environment, and thinks that to take the road
of a sustainable development is indeed the future of Yanlian
