This situation is due to the fact that the ational unde standing of cultu e teaching in TCFL lags fa behind the teaching p actice. Evalua2 tion of the eality in cultu e piling eveals the following main p oblems: unclea definition of cultu e and cultu e textbooks; confusions of cultu e teaching in TCFL and teaching cultu e to fo2 eigne s; lack of consensus conce ning the content and a angement ofa cultu e textbook.
