Abstract: China is the biggest clothing producer and exporter in theworld. The total amount of clothing export in China is about 1 to 4 comparing to the total amount in global trade, which generally forms finishing industry structure based on fashion industry and garment processing industry, especially garment industry as the main part. Chinese textile clothing is extremely competitive in global textile and apparel industry with its cheap labor and the advantage of strong industry support. In recent years, the development pace of garment manufacturing industry is faster than GDP and textile industry, and the market size has increased steadily. Since joining the WTO, Chinese textile and garment export grows rapidly. According to WTO agreement, the United States and the European Union have cut imports of textile and apparel quotas. Since 2005, its textile and apparel import quotas have been abolished. Under this circumstance, Chinese textile and apparel export increased rapidly. The abolition of all quotas in 2005 enabled the development of Chinese textile exports face historic opportunities.
