四川生理科学杂志 2021, 43(6) 935 e Medicine, Xinxiang 453200, Henan, China) Abstract Objective: To investigate the effects of montelukast sodium combined with inhaled budesonide suspension in the treatment of children with bronchiolitis infected by Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). Methods: A total of 155 children with RSV infection with bronchiolitis in our hospital from July 2018 to June 2020 were selected and divided into groups according to different treatment regimen. Children in the control group (n=74) were inhaled budesonide suspension, while children in the study group (n=81) were combined with montruckast sodium 4 mg•d-1 on this basis. After 7 d of treatment, the efficacy, the time of cough, wheezing and asthma disappear were observed; cysteinyl leukotrienes (CYSLTs), interleukin-5 (interleukin-5) levels were determined by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. Eosinophil cationic protein (ECP), IgA, IgE, IgM levels were measured by radioimmunoassay and the recurrence of wheezing at 3 months after treatment were recorded.
