It is the long course of friction and disputes that provide chances for them to better understand each other. The two persons do not have good first impression on each other. Misunderstanding and prejudice are always involved in their relation. But they start to know more about each other later and love each other finally. As an ordinary woman of the “genteel” class, Elizabeth may not have many brilliant and profound thoughts. However, she possesses some qualities that are quite different from other ordinary girls’.
