In the nanostructural colloid model, the C-S-H gel is packed by the basic building globules with the size of less than 5 nm. These building blocks ulate to form larger units and microstructures, which are two distinctive gel phrases, named as high density C-S-H and low density C-S-H, respectively. In addition, the research results of modern microscopic experiments, which have verified the authority of colloid model, have been summarized. Finally, some suggestions for the future study in this aspect are also made.
