第七条 每学期开学时，所有在学研究生〔含获准延期的研究生〕
必须在学校规定的日期内到学院办理报到注册手续，方可取得本学
期学习资格。
未按学校规定缴纳学费或者其他不符合注册条件的不予注册。
因故不能按时到校者，必须事先向学院书面请假并附相关证明。请假时间一般不得超过两周。不请假或未准假而不按时注册或已到校而不办理注册者，视不同情况予以通报批评，超过两周而又无正当事由未注册者予以退学处理。
第八条 研究生应当按时参加教学方案规定的活动，不能按时参加者应当事先向任课老师请假并获得批准。未请假或未准假缺席者，以旷课论处，学院应当对其批评教育，情节严重的给予纪律处分直至退学处理。
第九条 研究生因病请假，应填写?厦门大学研究生请假单?并附校医院或二级甲等以上医院证明。请假一周以内的，由导师批准，学院备案；请假一周以上一个月以内的，由导师和学院分管领导批准，学院备案。研究生在一学期内累计请病假超过一个月者，需办理休学手续。
第十条 研究生一般不得请事假。如遇特殊情况需请事假的应填写?厦门大学研究生请假单?，请假一周以内的，由导师批准，学院备案；请假一周以上一个月以内的，由导师和学院分管领导批准，学院备案。研究生在一学期内累计请事假超过一个月者，应办理休学手续。

第十一条 研究生因课题研究或培养的需要须到外校进行科研活动或课程学习的应填写?厦门大学研究生请假单?，由导师、学院分管领导批准，学院备案。
第十二条 研究生请假期满时，应按时返校并及时到学院销假，如确需续假的，应办理续假手续。
