(二)休学期满申请复学经审查不合格者；
(三)未按学校规定完成学习任务者；
(四)经过中期考核认为不宜继续培养者，或学位论文工作中明显表现出科研能力差者；
(五)经过指定医院确诊，患有精神病、癫痫病以及患有其它疾病不能再继续学习者；
(六)意外伤残不能坚持学习者；
(七)因违纪受到退学处分者；
(八)符合学校其他文件所规定的退学条款者；
(九)本人申请退学，经说服教育无效者。
第二十二条研究生退学由学校发给退学证明。学习满一年及一年以上，完成培养计划要求且成绩合格者，发给肄业证书；学习不满一年者， 发给学习证明。未经批准擅自离校的，作自动退学处理，不发给肄业证书和学习证明。
第二十三条研究生退学后的善后问题按下列办法处理：
(一)入学前为在职人员的，退回到原单位。
(二)入学前为应届毕业生，因学业成绩不及格退学的，由学校负责，原则上在其来源省(入本科学习前的户口所在地。后同)安排、推荐就业，报天津市教委审批，办理派遣手续；
(三)其他研究生，退回其生源所在地。
第七章 奖励与处分
第二十四条学校要定期对研究生进行德、智、体全面考核，对于品学兼优的研究生应予以奖励和表扬。奖励和表扬采取精神鼓励和物质奖励结合、以精神鼓励为主的原则。奖励与表扬的形式有：通报表扬，发给奖状、证书、奖章、奖品、奖学金，授予荣誉称号等。具体办法见《天津师范大学研究生优秀奖学金评定办法》
第二十五条对犯有错误的研究生，学校可视其情节轻重给予批评或纪律处分。
