提起雷锋，很多同学都非常熟悉。这位普通的中国士兵，在他短短的二十二年的人生岁月中，却为他人、为社会做了无数的好事，为人们送去了无数的温暖和安慰。
“对待同志要像春天一样的温暖，对待工作要像夏天一样的火热，对待个人主义要像秋风扫落叶一样，对待敌人要像严冬一样残酷无情。”这段名言许多人都能耳熟能详，读到它，人们会不约而同地想一个人；想起他，我们就会被一种精神深深地感染。1940年12月18日，从湖南省望城县简家塘村一个贫苦农民的家里传出一声男孩的啼哭--雷锋出生了。然而，不到7岁，雷锋就成了一个孤儿。
1950年，在乡政府的关怀和资助下，不幸的雷锋幸运地得到了免费读书的机会。读书期间，他乐于助人，时时刻刻奉献着自己的爱心。1956年，雷锋从荷叶坝小学毕业，执意要留在农村的他当上了乡政府的一名通信员。1958年至1959年间，雷锋先后在困山湖农场当拖拉机手，在鞍钢做推土机手，在弓长岭焦化厂参加基建工作……雷锋勤奋的工作得到了大家的认和和赞赏，他多次被评为“先进工作者”、“工作标兵”、“红旗手”、“青年社会主义建设积极分子”……
