最后，我们来谈谈“创新”，创新是我们垦利精神的精髓，也是我们垦利发展的动力和源泉，没有创新就没有活力，没有创新就没有发展，没有创新就无法赢得未来！那么，在我们日常的疾控工作中又如何发扬“创新”精神呢？发扬“创新”精神要求我们疾控人绝不墨守陈规，绝不固步自封；发扬“创新”精神要求我们疾控人一定要在立足本职工作的基础上，善于观察、勤于思考；发扬“创新”精神要求我们疾控人一定要头脑灵活，敢于尝试，敢于创造，不怕挫折，不怕失败，敢为天下先！在坚持不懈的探索与创造中不断改进我们的工作思路和工作方法，以更好的适应我们新时期与新形势的迫切需要！
经过上述对“垦利精神”四个表述语“包容，厚德，务实，创新”的娓娓道来，我们不难发现，其实，“垦利精神”就是我们“疾控精神”的宏观蓝本，“疾控精神”就是我们“垦利精神”的微观写照！而我们的“垦利梦”，我们的“建设黄蓝经济示范区、和美幸福新垦利”又何尝不是我们全
