近几年，随着电子商务的蓬勃发展，我国快递产业发展非常迅速，目前已经在我国东部沿海地区形成了以江浙沪、珠三角、港澳台和京津等大城市群为中心的4大快递区域。同时，这4大快递区域又从东向西进行辐射，带动起了中部和西部地区快运速度产业的发展。 深圳、上海等部分特大城市和大城市已经发展成为区域性快递产业发展中心，全国范围内已经形成了以高速公路、铁路运输等为基础的陆上快递通道，我国快运快递业的点、轴、面的系统布局已经初呈雏形。 现阶段，顺丰速运主要面临以下的竞争对手：
（1）直接竞争者：EMS、UPS、联邦快递 宅急送、民航快递、中铁快运、圆通、申通、中通、百世汇通
（2）间接竞争者：快捷速递、天天等小快递公司
