Technology improvement 's society affects:
If the integration technology have not progressed so fast, there would be no mobile phones that we now are playing in our hands.
If steel manufacturing technology  have not progressed so fast, there would be no cars or bicycles which are used by us everyday.
If the communication technology and information retrieval technology have not developped so quickly, you will be impossible to see so many PPTs that contain so much information collected from the Internet.
However scientific and technological progress also brought human a lot of trouble at the same time.
air pollution :
Industrial production is an important source of atmospheric pollution ,because industrial emissions mainly are soot(烟尘), sulfur oxides（硫的氧化物 ）, nitrogen oxides（氮的氧化物 ）, organic compounds（有机物）, halide（卤化物）, carbon compounds（碳化物）that are atmospheric pollutants . As of May 2008, there are 21344 various types of pollution sources in Wuhan. Among them ,7651 come from industry(2226 key industrial source, general industrial source, 5425), 13663 are living pollution sources . And factory emissions significantly more than other sources .There are only 30 pollution control facilities.
Excessive use of resources :
More than 3300 kinds of minerals are known on earth. More than 95% of the energy currently used by humans, more than 80% of industrial raw materials and more than 70% of the agricultural means of production comes from the mineral resources. All the world's resources are limited, by the speed with it, I can't imagine the future of humanity will be what.
Value material wealth much more:
