定义
“禁忌”一词来自南太平洋岛国的汤加语,原意是“神圣”、“不可触摸”,必须特别留意的事物或人物《牛津高阶英汉双解词典》对禁忌的解释是:(in certain cultures) ban or prohibition on sth that is regarded for religious or other reasons as not to be done, touched, used,etc.
禁忌现象反映在语言中即为禁忌语,反映了不同历史阶段和文化背景下的文化内涵.
