Setting: The story took place in 15century,when the whole Europe was dominated by emperor and pope. During the 1482 Festival of Fools in Paris, Quasimodo, the hunchback of Notre Dame, is elected the Pope of Fools for being the ugliest person in Paris. He is hoisted on a throne and paraded around Paris by the jeering mob. Meanwhile, Esmerelda, a gypsy street dancer ,was performing friendly and fascinating dance with her pure goat, all the people captured by her beauty included Claude Frollo ,the bishop of the Notre Dame,even if he views all desires are evil and murmured:“That is profaneness,That is hex……”
