Study parison between Chinese and American Table Language and Culture
Abstract: Culture is an very important part in China and America. As a part of culture, dining etiquettes and language play important roles in life. The paper overviews the development of Chinese and American language and culture of dining. parison, the paper reveals the features and differences of dining language and culture and analyze the influences resulting from the differences. We study these differences and then find out the points that can be digested, in order to facilitate munication about cultures between China and the America. From the Iceberg Theory, the national culture bringing out the differences and influences will also be discussed. Furthermore, the paper proposes many suggestions to make sure the differences can be employed in a right way, the purpose is to promote a munication between China and the America, absorb excellent culture mutually and make progress together.
