Abstract
In this paper, we firstly discuss hierarchical routing protocols designed for (Mobile
Ad work) by listing the classification of the routing protocols and
paring their various characteristics. Next, we discuss current hierarchical
protocols pare those protocols. We analyze challenges in future routing
protocol designs and gives the conclusions of this paper.

1 Introduction
There are many different scenarios for works. They are basically classified into two main
categories [1].
The first is known as the "works". In an work such as cellular wireless
network (or wireless LAN), the nodes (or users) communicate with each other through base stations (or
access points). The base stations are usually fixed and can form work infrastructure while the nodes
are either stationary or mobile. A "handoff" occurs from the old base station to the new one as the mobile
node travels out of range of one base station and into the range of another to munication
seamlessly.
The second type of mobile work is the infrastructureless work, commonly known as
