从语用角度看商务翻译的礼貌性原则

摘
要
商务翻译是一种跨文化、跨语言、跨社会的交际活动。其用语正式、行文严谨、注重实用,
具有极强的目的性。由于商务双方在交往中力求协商, 达成协议, 实现双赢, 因而在商务翻译中, 对
礼貌性原则有更高的要求。本文从语用角度探讨了礼貌性原则在商务翻译情境交际中的作用, 以及如
何在文化认知、词句运用上体现这一原则。

1 商务英语翻译对礼貌性原则的要求
英语在商务领域扮演着不可或缺的角色。
国内许多学者在研究商务英语的文体特征和语
言特点, 翻译策略及翻译原则。然而, 学者们
把对商务翻译研究的重心更多地放在它的/信
息传达 0 功能上, 更注重商务翻译的/忠实 0
原则。它涉及技术引进、对外贸易、招商引
资、对外劳务承包与合同、国际合同、国际金
融、涉外保险、国际旅游、海外投资、国际运
输等等。其用语正式、行文严谨、注重时效、
实用性强。按照德国功能主义翻译学派的目的
论, 翻译的方法和策略是由翻译所要达到的
