摘要
本文使用 L 语料库,在系统功能语法框架下研究中国英语专业学生作文的元功
能使用。本文所使用的系统功能语法理论主要是以韩礼德的理论为依据,同时也参考了
汤普森,胡壮麟和黄国文等语言学家的观点。本文主要从概念功能,人际功能和语篇功
能的角度研究英语专业学生的作文。概念功能的分析主要着眼于物质过程,心理过程,
言语过程和存在过程。人际功能的分析主要着眼于语气和情态。语篇功能的分析主要着
眼于主位结构。
论文首先说明了本研究的重要意义以及要达到的研究目的,并且在第一部分列出了
论文的总体框架,即论文主要分成五部分来对研究问题进行阐述。论文的第二部分进行
了相关文献和研究的回顾,包括对韩礼德系统功能语法的回顾和对语料库语言学研究的
回顾。论文的第三部分是研究方法部分,作者首先提出了几点假设,即中国英语专业学
生作文中三大元功能的使用和学生年级存在相关性,并且这种相关性是可以被描述的;
以及它们的备择假设,即中国英语专业学生作文中三大元功能的使用和学生年级不存在
必然的相关性。然后作者介绍了本研究的实施过程。在研究过程中,作者利用语料库检
索软件 AntConc 的帮助,找出了中国英语专业学生作文中元功能使用的情况,然后用分
析软件 SPSS 对能体现元功能的手段的出现频率及频率与学生年级之间的相关性进行分
析,得出研究发现并对发现进行讨论。在文章的最后一部分,作者提出了研究发现对英
语教学和未来研究的启示,并指出了本研究的一些有待改进之处。

Abstract
Based on the corpus of L, this thesis mainly studies the positions by
English majors adopting a systemic-functional approach in terms of metafunctions. In this
thesis, the theories of systemic-functional grammar are mainly on the basis of theories of
. Halliday and also consulting the theories of Thompson, Hu Zhuanglin and Huang
Guowen. The essential theories in this thesis are three metafunctions and the author mainly
focuses on the material processes, mental processes, verbal processes and existential
processes in the analysis from ideational function; mood and modality in the analysis from
interpersonal function; thematic structure in the analysis from textual function.
To begin with, the thesis lays emphasis on the aim and significance of this study as well
as the structure of the whole thesis. Then the thesis reviews the related literature touched upon
in this thesis. This section also involves the related systemic-functional theory and the
corpus-based methodology. After the groundings of the theories and related researches the
author of this thesis puts forward the methodology of this research including the hypotheses
and research proce
