Abstract: Inspired the sueprhydrobic and high adhesion of gecko's feet, we fabricated the carbon
nanotube (CNT) film with superhydrophobicity and high adhesion for water droplet, simultaneously.
The experimental results show that the contact angle (CA) of water is as high as 156o and the adhesion
force reaches 50 µN, which parable to that of natural gecko's feet. On the other hand, the
T film shows high mechanical properties due to the formation of three dimensional
network. Finally, this bioinspired T film is continuously synthesized by floating chemical
vapor deposition (CVD), indicating the large T film can be easily obtained and supplying the
promising potential practical application in no-loss water microdroplet transport.

0 Introduction
Recently, the numerous interests have been focused on the superhydrophobic surface with high
adhesion, due to their great potential application in no-loss liquid microdroplets transport for
biological and microfluidic field.[1-2] Inspired by gecko’s feet,[3] and rose petal,[4] several kinds of
high adhesive superhydrophobic surface were prepar
