Based on his deep insight and courage,he proposed a way that is blending Western painting into Chinese art for Chinese painting reform. Lin devoted his life to the fusing of Chinese and western painting,create a lot of popularworks. his Distinctive painting keep a wide distance with the traditional painting and western art, but reached a spiritresonance, combine the East and West art into a perfect form. He added some new content to expand the Chinese painting area, in the same time mix the eastern aesthetic culture into the western material techniques to improve thepression ability of Chinese art. he changed Chinese art concepion of painting too, show Chinese painting a modern feature, he gave our a essful example for Chinese painting individual efforts which made in the art circles of 20th century, had a far-reaching painting styleevolution are worthy to think and
