!学位论文摘要 Abstract From theancient Greece,the concept of”Art imitating nature”is notonlydeeply ingrained,but also an important part of Plato’Stheory of”idea”.This concept hasbeen constantly affirmed,negated and limited inallkinds ofways inthelonghistory of Western times,Gombrich hasmade athorough investment andpointed out hisown opinion specifically. Thispaper isdivided firstpart focuses ontheinvestigation of the origin andtypes of”Mimesis”.From the Greek philosophers’point ofview, imitation”and”art”areclosely did not deny thecreationandpositive significance ofimitating skills,but healways believed that”imitation”art and’’idea” divorced ’S famous”bed theory”illustrates therelationship between’’art” the field ofart,he distinguished between two types of”imitation”, ”copy art”and”illusion of Imitation theory”hasgreat influence for thewestern art Aristotle totheRenaissance,all the artistsfollowedwith Plato’ the Renaissance,however,the”illusion”continues asthe classicaltheory ofthe artof painting. The second part discusses theresponse fromGombrich tothe”imitation”theory responded toPlato‘S”imitation art”in two of Gombrich believed thatthere is avague middle ground between the”imitation”and ’reality”,replacement,which isthevery reason why afunctional”replacement”could make Artpossible,and replacement alsobecame adriving forceofthestyle evolution. Secondly,the sheer imitation itself isimpossible,all thereading isbased on some kindofpsychological mechanisms,having certaininterpretation. The thirdpart concentrates on describing the differentunderstanding between Plato and Gombrich on the issue Gombrich’S point ofview,the SO—calledart”illusion”is nottheresponse totheinferiorpart ofthehuman soul,but a psychological orientation thatwecan control andexploit.
