【教学内容】
牛津小学英语五年级下册Unit3 Asking the way. Story time
【教学目标】
1. 能理解句型How do I get to...?及其回答You can get on the metro/ bus at...Then, walk to/ go along...
2. 能掌握take, get on, get off, walk, hospital, shop, stop 等词汇。
3. 会使用所学句型询问生活中的路线。

【设计理念】
本课的话题和场景是对Unit2 Story time的延续，因此以谈论苏海的个人信息为切入点，导入本课学习，接着以开放的问题：How to ask the way? 引发学生思考：如何问路？呈现本课主句型How do I get to...?接着学习句型You can get on the metro/ bus at...Then, walk to/ go along...通过演一演、读一读、画一画的游戏复习巩固本课元句型、单词。因此，本设计主要通过游戏等环节创设真实的情境，让学生在情境中自觉使用新句型。通过前一单元的学习以及自身前期的积累，30名左右的学生由于自主学习能力较强，在老师的辅助下，能够熟练使用句型。
【教学过程及设计意图】
Step 1：Warming up:
Listen &sing a song “How do you go to school?”
(设计意图：让学生在歌曲中温习了本单元的重要词汇，同时为下面的语言学习提供一定的素材。
)
Step2: Free talk:
T: Hello, xxx. S1: Hello, xxx.
T: Where do you live? S1: I live...
T: How do you come to school?
T: What can you see on the street?
（设计意图：通过英语问候的形式，营造良好的英语学习氛围。）
Step3: Look and say:
T: We can see some traffic signs in the street. What does it mean?
