Abstract
In order to better apply the contou r vision detection method to non-con tact t wo-d imensional
body circ umfere nce meas uremen t, the cont our vision dete ction metho ds in r ecent years are review ed,
including edge ope ra tors ba sed de tection, mathem atic al morpholo gy based detec tion, and leve l set
detection a lgorithm of active cont our mo del. Through the compa ris on o f experi mental rendering s, the e dge
definition, an ti-n oise ability and target e dge posit ion ing ab ility o f the con to ur visual dete ctio n method are
re -evaluated. In p articular , the resear ch progr es s of Canny edge oper ator in optim izati on a nd imp rovement
