材料加工区应设置安全地带,并应搭设防护棚。防护棚应防砸、防风、防火、防雨，结构牢固。材料加工区地坪应采用水泥砂浆或砼硬化，并按材料制作工序和种类分区设置，各区之间可采用10厘米宽黄色油漆条带或黑黄相间的活动护栏分离；各区均应设置不小于30×40厘米的黄底黑字材料标识牌。区内原材料、半成品、成品等放置区应整齐、有序、标识清楚。
材料堆放区地坪应采用水泥砂浆或砼硬化，并分别按材料堆放要求分类分区设置。露天堆放的材料各区之间可采用10厘米宽黄色油漆条带或黑黄相间的活动护栏或符合安全要求的砌体围墙分隔放置；各区均应设置不小于30×40厘米的黄底黑字材料标识牌，区内材料堆放应整齐、有序、标识清楚。
