〔三〕工业经济突飞猛进。工业经济是我镇的"软肋"，"九五"期间，全镇几乎没有一家工业企业。"十五"以来，特别是最近两年来，我镇坚持以招商引资为抓手，全力聚焦工作经济，使范集工业不但实行了"零"的突破，而且一跃成为全区的先进单位，目前，我镇已拥有恒星电子、迅达绝缘材料、金帆塑料三个投资千万元的园区企业，范王米业、元宝面业、谷丰米业、建新米业、三力化工、春梅木业、建材构件、机械铸造、远丰肥料等22家个体私营企业，其中范王米业、谷丰米业、建新米业、远丰肥料等6个企业已到达列统企业规模。

〔四〕社会事业再上台阶。截止2000年，我镇仅有1个自来水厂，1条砂石路，1座卫星电视接收站。"十五"期间，我镇党委、政府抓住省委、省政府扶持苏北开展的难得机遇，发动全镇广阔干群克服困难，积极参与，全镇新铺镇村水泥路50公里，新建村级水厂6座，，架设城乡有线电视联网光缆15公里，改造草危房117户，建立推广了新型合作医疗救助机制，彻底解决了广阔农民行路难、看病难、吃水难的实际问题，丰富了群众的文化生活，提高了农民的生活质量，救助了社会弱势群体，让全镇人民都感受到党的政策的温暖，分享改革开放和经济开展的胜利成果。
〔五〕根底设施得到改善。范集是农业大镇，由于年久失修，不少根底设施损毁严重。滞后的农田水利根底设施，成了制约范集农业快速开展的瓶颈。自2022年开始，我镇加大对农田水利设施的投入力度，先后对永济东干、永济中干、张码东干、花河、引河、调尾河等100多华里的灌排渠道进行了全线疏浚，累计挖土120万方，新增配套建筑物463座，极大地改善了全镇农业生产条件，降低了农户的本钱投入，得到了广阔农民的一致拥护。
