保罗要指出犹太人是没有可能靠自己,而不依靠耶稣得救恩
(罗9:31-32, 10:3)
Apostle Paul wants to point out to the Jews that it is impossible for them to reject Jesus and yet be saved from God’s wrath.
上文(罗 2:1-16)
保罗要告诉犹太人,不要以为上帝偏待他们(V11)
God shows no partiality to the Jews
犹太人论断审判外邦人时,也就审判定自己的罪
Jews condemned themselves when they judge the gentiles
因为外邦人所犯的罪行、宗教上敬虔的犹太人也同样犯

2:17你身为犹太人,倚靠律法,仗着上帝夸口,18而且明白他的旨意,又从律法得了教导,能够辨别什么是好的,19自信是瞎子的向导,在黑暗中的人的光,20愚昧人的导师,小孩子的教师,在律法上得了整套的知识和真理;21你既然教导别人,难道不教导自己吗?你传讲不可偷窃,自己却偷窃吗? 22你说不可奸淫,自己却奸淫吗?你憎恶偶像,自己却劫掠庙宇吗?23你既然以律法夸口,自己却因犯律法而羞辱上帝吗? 24正如经上所说的:上帝的名,因你们的缘故在列邦中被亵渎。
Rom 2:17 But if you call yourself a Jew and rely on the law and boast in God 18 and know his will and approve what is excellent, because you are instructed from the law; 19 and if you are sure that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness, 20 an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of children, having in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth-- 21 you then who teach others, do you not teach yourself? While you preach against stealing, do you steal? 22 You who say that one must mit adultery, do mit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? 23 You who boast in the law dishonor God by breaking the law. 24 For, as it is written, "The name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you."
