On Excessive Packaging
   In recent years we can see quite a lot of products are excessively packaged. My newly bought e swathed in tissue paper, placed in a cardboard box and then finished off in wrapping paper. Why do people have a liking for excessive packaging?
     There are many reasons that contribute to this phenomenon. Firstly, producers are profit-driven and they can raise the prices of their products by delicate packaging so as to make much more profit. Secondly, consumers tend to think it more decent to purchase well-packaged products, especially when they want to buy gifts for their friends. The last but not the least, imperfect taws and regulations make it not possible pletely ban excessive packaging.
   In my opinion, besides the cost for buyers, excessive packaging also results in the waste of resources and environment pollution. To solve the problem, it's necessary to take the following measures. First, laws and regulations must be perfected to restrict excessive packaging. Second, we need to raise consumer's awareness that delicate packaging doesn't equal to high quality. Meanwhile, we need to advocate packaging recycling.
