People talking without speaking, people hearing without listening
At the beginning of chapter eleven in Genesis, God scattered our people abroad from there over the face of all the earth. From then on, we no longer speak the same language and no longer live in the same place. And as time passed, we forgot that once we all came from one place and spoke the same language. Just as the joke in the movie about, there were different tragedies being on in different continents, however, they all could be linked together. And if we municated earlier, perhaps we would not suffer a lot. In the film, the Japanese girl was such a character who
The first scene was about a volleyball match, in which the girl was fouled out for her rude behavior. And with the slowly unfolded plot, I saw the girl tried her best to seduce young men, even at the cost of exposing her body in public. We also saw how she indulged herself in sensual pleasure after taking ecstasy and how she again managed to lure the policeman. Throughout the entire process, I was shocked by the girl’s ridiculous and unreasonable acts again and again. I want to laugh at her but I cannot, for I’ve found reasons for her behavior.
This was a deaf and mute girl, an identity symbolized the desire of talking to the outside world and also the disability of doing that at the moment it was established. But the reality was crueler to her.
