长尾理论在中国 IPTV 领域的验证及应用研究

摘要

2004 年 10 月,Chris Anderson 在其经典文章《长尾》一文中,首次提出了“长
尾理论”(The long tail)这一概念, 用于诠释网络经济和数字娱乐经济的新兴市
场。作为电信网、因特网以及广电网三网融合的典范,IPTV 在世界各地的发展都
还处于起步阶段,其在市场方面的一些现象与“长尾理论”中提到的一些发现有所
呼应。
本文从“长尾理论”以及 IPTV 的基本概念出发,分析了中国 IPTV 发展的概
况,并检验了形成长尾市场的三股力量、创造长尾市场的九大成功原则在中国
IPTV 领域的影响力和适用度,最后在验证的基础上,将长尾理论的一些适用原则
应用于中国 IPTV 的发展,提出了一系列可行性建议。

APPLICATION AND VALIDATION OF THE LONG TAIL
THEORY IN CHINESE IPTV FIELD

ABSTRACT

In Oct 2004, the long tail theory was first brought up by Chris Anderson
in his classical article “The Long Tail”. To explain the rising market of the
network economy and digital entertainments, it is a sample of the integration
of the work, and the work.
The IPTV is still at the beginning stage, however the market have some
corresponding phenomenon which is brought up in the "long tail theory".
This article is base on the long tail theory and the basic concept of the
IPTV. We analyzed the develop situation of the IPTV in china, validated the
influence and fitness of the three power which form the long tail market and
the nine ess principles in chinese IPTV field. Then base on this
validation, we apply some application principles of the long tail theory to the
Chinese IPTV development to bring out a series of feasibility suggestion.
