SQL Server 2000 Architecture 3
Overview
This class focuses on Microsoft ® SQL™ Server architectural concepts,
performance data collection tools, and data analysis methods. Understanding
SQL Server architecture will form the basis for learning advanced
troubleshooting techniques.
Later modules will cover topics such as query tuning and the Performance
Monitor (Perfmon). Without a solid understanding of how SQL Server works,
these efforts are less productive. The overall goal of this class is to provide the
skills needed to identify and tune hot spots before critical situations occur.
