对初中英语课外阅读理论的几点考虑
—-关于阅读课Tinkers Island的个案研究

【摘 要】本文以《企鹅英语简易读物精选》为研究教材,以Tinkers Island《廷克父女岛》一堂有效的阅读 (2)阅读步骤:
①先在书本上划出生词,如market, thief,不查字典,根据发音规那么进展拼读,并根据上下文猜测词义。
②在《阅读笔记本》上记录生词,摘抄优美词句5句以上。如They can hear nothing but the sea and the wind. It is a beautiful night and there is a big moon。 It shines on Sam Tinker’s thin, tired face.
(3)阅读检查:
①阅读20分钟后请家长签名在《英语阅读家校记录卡》中(附页)。
②每周一上交《阅读笔记本》。
(二)课堂教学
步骤一:Lead—in
T: Today we will have a reading class.
Please look at the cover of the book。 What can we find from the cover?
S1: We can find the name of the book. It’s Tinkers Island.
S2: We can see a picture。
T: What’s in the picture?
S2: There is a boy on the beach, and a coconut tree。
T: What else can you find from the cover?
S3: The writer of the book is Stephen Rabley.
T: Good job. So usually we can find some useful information from the cover of a book。 And sometimes we can even guess some of the story。

步骤二:Check Words
T: Do you finish reading the book?
S: Yes。
T: Great。 Now let’s have a words game and check if you read the book carefully enough. Let’s have a Boy-Girl competition。 Here are the rules: I will show you the words one by one。 Please find them in the book, and tell me which page it is on and read the sentence out. The fastest student will get one point.

步骤三:Introduce the elements of the story
T: When we read a story, there are some very important things。 They are place, person, and time。 So can you tell me what the places are in this story?
S1: They are London, the Black Star,
S2: A small boat, Tinkers Island.
S3: And the Red Rose.
T: Very good。 So in this story, there are
five places, but which one is the most
important?
S4: The Tinkers Island.
T: Why?
S4: Because they live on Tinkers Island for many days。 And this book’s name is
Tinkers Island。
