Unit One Nice to meet miliar with the personal information in a name card and write a name card as required information what are in the personal information.
Difficult points: make the similar words clear, such as first name and last name, use the proper “be” into a sentence. Connect the knowledge with their social lives to greet strangers or even their clients in the future.
Teaching Objectives
Cognitive Objectives
Tell apart the subjects of personal information,such as first name, last name, telephone number, address etc.
Introduce or greet sb. through a name card, such as I am…, he/she is…, nice to meet you, how are you? This is my… etc.
Competence Objectives
Write the personal information as required on a name card
Design their own name cards
Affective Objectives
Increase their interests of learning English by group gaming
Get a good preparation for their social life to greet or introduce others
Teaching Procedures
Pre-class preparation: Ss are divided into several groups which include 4 Ss of different levels.
