Abstract
Bark of Girald Daphne was first reported in Shanxi medicine Chi. It e from dried bark and root bark of Daphne giraldii Nitsche, Maxim and Hemsl. In some places, Daphne koreana and Edgeworthia chrysanthaLindl were also known as Bark of Girald Daphne.
Bark of Girald Daphne is tasted as spicy, bitter with some toxicity. It can get rid of the cold as well as the analgesic effect. In clinical, it is used to treat bruises, rheumatoid arthritis, and pain. In the private sector, it is widely used in the treatment of pain, bruises, rheumatoid arthritis, and bronchitis embolism. It was proved to be that Bark of Girald Daphne has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, sedative activities. The analgesic effect can be strengthen by 5-HT and NA. The Bark of Girald Daphne can significantly inhibit thrombus.
Bark of Girald Daphne is included in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia. Although it has been wildly reported, but the quality standards of Bark of Girald Daphne has not been reported. In order to fully evaluate the quality of Bark of Girald Daphne and achieve the purpose of safe, effective and quality controlled, we collected 10 representative batch herbs in eight main producing areas of the Bark of Girald Daphne. In the paper, basing on the 2010 Pharmacopoeia of People's Republic of China, we fully studied the quality standards. This paper consist of four parts, including collection and identification Bark of Girald Daphne, identification and inspection Bark of Girald Daphne, the content determination of in in the Bark of Girald Daphne, research the fingerprints of the Bark of Girald Daphne. The findings of the papers provided a workable standard and filled the quality standards of Bark of Girald Daphne.
