“3、8”妇女节、世界“母亲节”、“5、29”计生协会活动日、“7、11”世界人口日、“12、8”男性健康日、“12、1”世界艾滋病宣传日等开展宣传活动，全区上下统一行动，各乡镇利用逢场期间广泛开展中央《决定》和“一法三规“一条例等法律法规和优生优育、生殖保健服务等宣传，2010年全区共设点宣传132次，广播宣传339次,利用“三查”服务开展宣传42次；受教育面达92％以上。在集中性系列宣传期间，全区出动宣传车10辆/86次，发放药具23160盒；向群众和基层发放宣传资料223800份，展出计生挂图和展板45套（块），录音磁带115盒，更换宣传专栏、橱窗2700期，深入乡村（区社）开展计生文艺演出98场次，使广大群众在现场既知法、懂法和又享受计生工作对他们的优质服务。
二是区人口计生局、指导站会同区级有关部门共同参与组成的“三下乡”宣传队，分别到全区12个乡镇街巡回开展送计生文化、科技、卫生“三下乡”活动36次。走访慰问贫困计生家庭311户,发放慰问金57350元,播放电影及文艺宣传演出98场/次,本次活动在各乡镇街开设了计生政策宣传咨询、生殖保健咨询、避孕药具免费发放咨询等，接受现场咨询群众5000人次，免费生殖保健检查13000人次，发放计生药具24000只，发放各种计生宣传品、计生政策宣传单30000余份，出动宣传车10辆/86次，书写刷新标语80余幅，举办计生讲座12期，让群众潜移默化接受了计划生育的教育。
