Abstract In order to improve the accuracy and speed of light stripe center points extraction, a
new method for extracting subpixel centers of linear structured light stripes is proposed. First, the
image is filtered using median filter, and the contour tracking algorithm is used to avoid scanning
the pixels outside the light fringe area, so as to improve the calculation speed. Combined with the
