Recently with further research work on this respect, a great variety of protective methods e into being. On the whole, however, all these protective approaches mainly focus on the operation rather than the consistence of the connotation and quality of the intangible heritages. This paper sets a study of intangible heritage conservation from the cultural eco-perspective, trying to initiate an effective way under the property revelation of intangible heritage. The idea is that the culture and the natural and social environment are considered as an integrated and co-balanced body, which means that the intangible heritage protection should not only lie in the entity itself but be extended to certain background activities. The paper targets the study on Miao cultural eco-system conservation in the La’ershan Highlandsandillustrates the connotation of the local Miao’s cultural eco-system. It argues that the local Miao cultural eco-system is pound co-balanced between the Miao culture and natural and social background where the Miao culture is generated. The natural and ecological surroundings belong to nothing but the Miao’s survival environment and they are the base for the existence and variation of various intangible cultural heritage.
