摘要
随着中国与世界的文化交流日益扩大,出现了国际文化取代地域文化的现象,建筑作
为文化的产物,也不可避免地受到全球“文化趋同”的影响,“失语”现象严重。而随着国人
民族自信心的高涨和对建筑文化认识的提高,许多中国人对新建筑不仅要求具有“鲜明的时
代特征”,而且要求具有“鲜明的中国特征”。面对二者的矛盾,如何进行具有中国特色的建
筑创作已经迫在眉睫。
中国传统建筑博大精深,由于受到政治、经济、地理、气候等因素的影响,建筑特色
又不尽相同。北京四合院建筑作为传统民居的典型,独一无二,其特色往往通过一系列的
建筑符号冲击着人们的视觉与记忆。北京四合院不仅物化了北京人的传统居住方式,也凝
聚了中华民族几千年来各个时代的精神特征和历史文化,拥有任何仿制品都无法表达的意
义,她是中国传统精神最鲜明、最深刻也是最长久的体现。
作为建筑师若没有一个科学的设计观作为主导就很难设计出优秀的作品,因此本文运
用符号学的理论成果作为研究的理论基础。首先分析北京四合院的建筑特点并提取出具有
传统文化特色的建筑符号。继而从符构学层面对传统建筑符号的组构方式进行研究,从符
义学层面对传统建筑符号的深层意义进行阐述,从而挖掘其中特有的民族性格和传统精
髓。最后从符用学层面,以传统符号在现代建筑中应用与发展的角度,结合现代先进的建
造技术与人们的居住需求,对传统符号进行更新与转译,使之在现代建筑的创作中,既可
以传承民族特色,又可以适应新的建筑语境,使传统符号成为现代建筑中的“新”元素,
让传统之魂重归现代建筑。

Abstract
With the growing of cultural exchanges between China and the world, appears to replace the
international cultural phenomenon of regional culture, architecture as a cultural product,
